ONE OK ROCK kicked off their massive world tour in Tokyo in the fall of 2024. As the band played in the largest international venues of their career throughout September and October, they brought their powerful show to stadiums and arenas in Europe and North America for the first time. ONE OK ROCK brought their electrifying energy to the Kia Forum on October 23, 2024, as the last night of their Premonition World Tour.

From the opening chords of their latest single, “Delusion: All,” fans were thrust into a high-energy show as Taka’s powerful voice filled the venue. Moving seamlessly across the extended stage, Taka's charismatic performance bridged the gap between the band and the crowd, making the vast arena feel like an intimate gathering. The song, which serves as the theme for Kingdom 4: Return of the Great General, set the tone for an evening packed with ferocity and finesse.

Vocalist Taka, guitarist Toru, bassist Ryota, and drummer Tomoya each took a moment to thank fans. Despite their global fame and Taka’s years of living in LA, it was ONE OK ROCK’s first time at this legendary arena, and the crowd’s energy made it a performance for the books.

ONE OK ROCK performed fan-favorites, including “Renegades,” co-written with Ed Sheeran. With bold red lighting filling the arena, the song’s anthem-like qualities reverberated as lyrics flashed across the screen, inviting fans to sing along. The performance captured the band's themes of resilience and rebellion, encouraging their fans to reflect on their journeys and challenges.

A special acoustic rendition of “Wherever You Are” was another highlight, as Taka and guitarist Toru slowed down the show’s tempo to connect with fans in a heartfelt moment. Fans responded by singing along in Japanese, proving the universal appeal of their music.

During “Take What You Want,” originally featuring 5 Seconds of Summer, Taka began with a softer, acoustic tone before being joined by bassist Ryota and drummer Tomoya, bringing a powerful build-up to the song’s finale.

The visual experience of the night was equally captivating. During “Wonder,” an animated sequence on the screen whisked the audience into a cyber-inspired space journey with nods to Star Wars. With synchronized movements, Taka, Toru, and Ryota took to the stage’s edge, exciting the crowd and dancing in sync with their instruments—a lighthearted interlude amid the show’s heavier numbers.

As a fan-favorite, “The Beginning” saw Taka moving into the crowd, holding fans’ hands and creating a wave of connection that added a personal touch. During “Mighty Long Fall,” Taka again walked through the floor to greet fans further back, breaking the usual distance between artist and audience and giving more fans a front-row experience.

ONE OK ROCK’s message of unity and self-expression shone through in “Stand Out Fit In.” As Taka reminded fans of the importance of staying true to oneself amid societal pressures, the lyrics resonated deeply, creating a space for fans to feel seen and understood.

For the encore, the band surprised fans with a brand-new song, “We All Matter,” a poignant anthem about inclusion, diversity, and peace. Taka expressed gratitude for the fans’ enduring support, sharing his hopes for a world where music breaks down cultural barriers and fosters understanding.

Ending the night with “Wasted Nights,” ONE OK ROCK’s powerful finale summed up the joy and connection of their tour. As the last notes echoed through the arena, fans knew they had witnessed something special—a band at the peak of their performance, with a message of unity that transcends languages and borders.

Fans left with the promise of more to come, as ONE OK ROCK announced plans for a South American and North American tour in 2025, and a sneak peek of their upcoming song, "Dystopia," was met with excitement. It’s clear that ONE OK ROCK’s journey is far from over, and this world tour finale was a testament to their unstoppable drive and the deep bond they share with their fans worldwide.

The show was a well-curated mix of fan favorites and newer tracks from recent years that showcased their unique blend of rock and pop punk. The energy, music, and emotional moments made it clear the connection ONE OK ROCK has with their fans. It was heartwarming to see how their songs resonated with listeners and we’re sure this night will be unforgettable for fans. ab(CDE) and fans are excited to see what’s next for the band and cannot wait to see “Dystopia,” released October 24th, and ONE OK ROCK again in concert next year!
