82MAJOR at Palace Theatre, Leo Presents

K-pop group 82MAJOR brought their first-ever U.S. tour to a thrilling close on July 19 at the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles. As the final stop of their “82 SYNDROME” tour, the show delivered sharp performances, playful fan interactions, and emotional moments that left a lasting impression on their fandom, 82DE.

The night opened with the synchronized “TAKEOVER” and high-energy “Stuck,” setting the stage with crisp choreography and confident charm. Main rapper YE CHAN, who led most of the fan talk segments, welcomed the crowd by saying, “It’s our first time performing in LA. I know how loud you can get. I was once sitting in one of your seats!”

Between stages, the members expressed gratitude and excitement. SEONG MO admitted feeling bittersweet about the tour ending, while SEOK JOON promised, “We worked really hard preparing this show.” YE CHAN explained the meaning behind their tour title, calling it their goal to become a “syndrome” through music. “And I think it’s already starting,” SEONG BIN added with a grin.

Performances like “Heroes,” “Gossip,” and “Face Time” showcased the group’s swagger and stage presence. Fans shouted the chorus back during “Gossip,” while SEONG IL drew screams flexing his biceps mid-song. “Thorns” dazzled with strobing lights and tight choreography, and “Choke” stunned with theatrical staging and sleek formation work.

The group kept things light-hearted, teasing each other into doing aegyo (cute gestures) and even leading a raffle to give out signed T-shirts. YE CHAN led spontaneous singalongs of “Party in the USA,” joked about LA heat, and marveled at performing on the same stage where Houdini once performed.

Later, songs like “Birthday,” “Sure Thing,” and “Passport” leaned into a more fun, fan-focused energy, with playful choreography, hearts, and blown kisses. “Say More” and “Illegal” shifted the vibe into smooth R&B and trap territory, showing off their versatility.

The group closed the main set with “82,” chanting their name with full force and drawing the crowd into the moment. In a heartfelt final ment, each member expressed gratitude for their first U.S. tour. SEONG IL promised to return soon for KCON LA, and DO GYUN said, “All your cheering and support will stay with us.”

For the encore, the members returned in white merch shirts for “Promise You,” an emotional fan favorite. With phone lights glowing across the theatre, 82MAJOR walked the stage, waving goodbye and thanking fans one last time.

With powerful choreography and a genuine connection to their fans, 82MAJOR’s tour finale in LA was a clear promise of more to come. As YE CHAN put it, “We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.”

The concert was absolutely amazing, 82MAJOR delivered an unforgettable performance full of energy and talent. We are looking forward to seeing what they have in store next. Their future projects are sure to be just as impressive!
