After a two-year hiatus from releasing new albums, Korean-Canadian artist JUNNY has returned stronger than ever. With his latest EP, dopamine, released in June, he’s now on a North American tour across ten cities in the U.S. and Canada. This highly anticipated dopamine North America Tour brought him to the packed warehouse-style venue, 1720, in Los Angeles, where fans gathered for a night of soulful, high-energy performances.
The excitement in the crowd was unmistakable, a blend of long-time fans and newcomers eager to experience JUNNY live. When the lights dimmed, and the first beat of “RUSH” hit, a wave of cheers erupted. He shared not only hits from dopamine but also fan favorites from his previous album blanc, captivating the audience with both upbeat anthems and heartfelt R&B ballads.
JUNNY’s journey to this moment adds depth to his performances. Born in Korea but raised in Vancouver from age four, JUNNY’s early exposure to Korean music alongside Western genres like R&B, rock, and hip-hop shaped his sound. Over the years, JUNNY has established himself as a gifted songwriter, composing hits for K-pop giants like IU, JAY B, EXO’s SUHO, BAEKHYUN, and KAI, and members of NCT.

Joined on stage by special guest DAUL, JUNNY’s dynamic set showcased the diverse influences that inform his music. His powerful vocals on tracks like “MOVIE” and “By My Side” displayed the raw emotion that has won him a dedicated fanbase. The crowd sang along to fan favorites such as “AURA,” “Not About You,” and “INVITATION.” JUNNY seemed truly at home on stage, sharing personal anecdotes between songs and expressing gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support.
As he moves from city to city on the dopamine North America Tour, JUNNY continues to capture hearts with a blend of nostalgia and modern flair that feels entirely his own.
