ATEEZ is a Korean boy group, signed under KQ Entertainment, consisting of 8 members: SEONGHWA, HONGJOONG, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, and JONGHO.  The group was the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella and recently released their 10th mini album Golden Hour : Part.1 with the title track ‘WORK’.  They are currently on their fourth world tour "Towards the Light : Will to Power", inviting BE:FIRST, a Japanese boy group, as guests for the Los Angeles portion of the tour.

BE:FIRST set the stage and energetically performed before ATEEZ took the stage. ATEEZ began with crowd-pleasers ‘Crazy Form’ and ‘Say My Name’ that had ATINY —the name given to ATEEZ’s fans— jumping out of their seats.  After hearing and seeing adrenaline-producing performances the crowd would not settle down.  The concert contained several solo dance break transitions highlighting members like SEONGHWA and WOOYOUNG.  The impressive stage productions/props were a sight to behold and utilized well throughout the show.  The attire of the members was also eye-catching with YEOSANG’s look embodying a caged bird and MINGI with his iconic “Willy Wonka” look.  

The highlight of this tour is the sub-unit performances from their second full-length album The World EP.Fin : Will.  Each member's unit song has curated stages and impressive theatrics.  Even the talking segments provide entertaining moments that can vary such as a skit by YUNHO or a cover dance by JONGHO.

After such thrilling performances came a touching moment between ATEEZ and ATINY, during ‘Dancing Like Butterfly Wings’.  ATINY sang along while ATEEZ ended the song with their signature line “8 makes 1 team”.  With the group quickly gaining more recognition and achieving milestones due to their hard work and talents, it is nice to see ATEEZ interact with ATINY who have been there every step of the way.  HONGJOONG and SAN even took the time during the concert to express to ATINY how much their support means to them--promising that ATEEZ would support ATINY in any endeavor just like how ATINY supported ATEEZ through everything and anything.   

The energy from ATEEZ’s performance and ATINY’s chants shook the whole venue and could be heard outside the venue.   It was easy to be swept up in the energy making it impossible not to engage through dancing or singing along.  ATEEZ is a humble group that will be sure to always perform as if it were their last stage.  Be sure to purchase tickets below!
