82MAJOR is set to make their highly anticipated return with their 3rd mini album [SILENCE SYNDROME], releasing on April 14 at 6 PM KST. The group, consisting of NAM SEONG MO, PARK SEOK JOON, YOON YE CHAN, CHO SEONG IL, HWANG SEONG BIN, and KIM DO GYUN, is looking to build on their growing success with a more refined sound and powerful performances.

Coming just six months after their second mini album X-82, this release marks another step forward in the group's evolution. The tracklist, revealed on March 24 through their official social media channels, includes four songs: the title track “TAKEOVER,” along with “영웅호걸” (“Champions” or “Heroes”), “Passport,” and “Promise You.” Three of these songs were previously introduced during their third solo concert 82MAJOR BOOM, where all three shows sold out

With SILENCE SYNDROME, 82MAJOR explores themes of breaking free from societal constraints. The album’s sound is described as a matured and distinctive take on their signature style, blending dynamic rap and vocal performances with self-produced elements. Notably, all members contributed to the songwriting and composition, further solidifying their artistic identity. “Promise You,” in particular, holds a special meaning as it was created for fans and its title was chosen through a fan vote.

The title track “TAKEOVER” is a genre-blending hip-hop song infused with elements of trap, UK drill, and drum and bass. Its lyrics, including the line “새로운 세계를 만들어가” (“we create a new world”), emphasize the group’s bold and rebellious spirit. The chorus, shouted collectively by all six members, is expected to heighten the song’s explosive energy, making it a standout moment both on record and in live performances.

With [SILENCE SYNDROME], 82MAJOR is poised to further cement their place in the industry. As fans count down to the release, anticipation continues to build for what the group has in store. The mini album will be available worldwide on April 14 through various online music platforms.
